Concretely, the AT13C reaches an impressive 40Hz (-1dB) and extends up to 22kHz. This is worth emphasizing: 40Hz from a center speaker this compact, with this level of energy and texture… is almost unheard of—especially in this price range. With a nominal power handling of 125 Watts, and up to 250 Watts peak, it's compatible with nearly any amplifier—transistor, tube, Class D—and suitable for virtually any room.

A Truly Appealing Center Speaker

The AT13C is a reasonably sized center speaker. Both proportions and finish are impeccable, a faithful continuation of the successful design language of the series. Like its larger sibling, it offers more than a simple bookshelf form. It’s undeniably charming, catching the eye again and again without ever growing old. The faux leather finish is elegant: the grain is visible yet subtle, the tension flawless, and the ash-brown or white color options are both timeless and tasteful. The side panels are crafted from oak with multiple bevels and grooves, enhancing both rigidity and the damping of unwanted resonances.

The single rear binding post, made in France to exclusive specifications, is of excellent quality—constructed from a high-conductivity copper alloy. It allows for firm and easy tightening, accepting both banana plugs and bare wire. The tweeter's horn flare is subtle and perfectly integrated into the front panel. Overall, the build quality is outstanding, and it will blend seamlessly on or within a media unit, or on the dedicated ATStand (sold individually).
