The Nota 3 is the larger of the two bookshelf models in the new generation of the Nota series, serving as an evolution of the highly regarded 260 X model. It is perfect for spaces that cannot accommodate full-sized floorstanding loudspeakers, yet where the user still demands an affordable option with a complete, full-range sound. The implementation of a highly efficient 170 mm mid-bass driver, paired with a completely new motor structure, yields a surprisingly grand sense of scale and sonic energy. The rear-firing bass-reflex port has been meticulously tuned – allowing the loudspeaker to be positioned closer to the wall, utilizing the proximity to naturally reinforce low-frequency output.

Stylish design and classic elegance
The latest generation of the Nota series is a nod toward a simplified, yet modernized design that effortlessly complements any room. The eye is drawn to the side panels, which are finished in an aesthetically pleasing classic or black oak veneer. The remaining cabinet walls are covered in a scratch- and smudge-resistant matte black PVC finish. Subtly rounded edges lend the enclosure a sense of smoothness without compromising its simple, classic character. The clean and minimalist form of the front baffle is further accentuated by trim rings that elegantly conceal the mid-bass driver’s mounting hardware.

Synergy of refined drivers
An advanced, 2-way electroacoustic driver configuration is the heart of the Nota 3. High frequencies are reproduced by a 26 mm fabric dome tweeter equipped with a compact yet powerful neodymium magnet and a radial damping chamber. Placing the dome within a custom waveguide effectively improves sound dispersion. The second driver – the mid-woofer – features a cone crafted from a polypropylene and mica blend, the same material utilized in the higher-tier Tesi series. Combined with an optimized upper roll surround and a new, highly efficient motor system, this solution guarantees pinpoint accuracy, sonic purity, and outstanding midrange clarity.

Advanced acoustic engineering
The most crucial elements of a loudspeaker are often hidden out of sight. This is exactly the case with the Nota 3. Inside the rigid MDF cabinet, an internal cross-brace and meticulously applied damping material are used to effectively reduce unwanted cabinet resonances. The new, oversized ferrite magnet on the mid-bass driver ensures even punchier and better-controlled bass. The crossover has also been completely redesigned, utilizing components such as air coils, resulting in a superbly balanced frequency response. Thanks to its favorable impedance characteristics, the Nota 3 pairs effortlessly with virtually any amplifier, delivering a versatile, dynamic, and engaging performance.
