The next generation of Alpine S-Series amplifiers are designed to take your car audio system to the next level, but at a reasonable price. These amplifiers offer exceptional performance and power at an affordable price, with a new sleek design and improved features from the original S-Series amplifiers.
The S-Series S2-A55V 5-channel amplifier delivers 60W RMS @ 2 Ω of original high-fidelity signal to each of your car's front and rear speakers, and 3,00W RMS power to the subwoofer simultaneously. The amplifier's combination of Hi-Res Audio capabilities in the 4-channel section and additional power from the subwoofer channel brings your music to life with all the precise details, punchy beats and emotional power. You can also use the amplifier in a 3-channel 2-way system to drive a pair of front high-power speakers, each with 120W RMS, and 300W to power the subwoofer. Adjustable bass boost allows you to further enhance the system's low-frequency sound. You can even add an optional wired remote control to control the bass level from the front seat.
High and low pass filters allow you to control the frequency spectrum that reaches your speakers and subwoofers. The amplifier has preamp and speaker level inputs, so you can install it in almost any vehicle, even one with a factory radio. With speaker level inputs, the amplifier can sense the incoming signal and turn on automatically, eliminating the need to run a separate power cable to your receiver or fuse box.
The S-series includes two mono amplifiers of different power, 4-channel and 5-channel amplifiers.

The amplifier has been specifically designed with audio controls located on the side panels rather than the top panel to make it easier to access the gain and switching controls when the amplifier is mounted under vehicle seats or in shallow areas. Removable rear covers have been added to cover the side controls and connectors, providing a clean, user-friendly finish to the amplifier.
